Wii inventory is lasting a day

At least that’s what Nintendo America CEO, Reggie Fils-Amie, said in an interview for San Jose Mercury News. According to the Nintendo top man, every time they supplement the number of Wiis, they sell even better, so they are not even close to understanding where the threshold between offer and demand is.
As the holyday season approaches, Nintendo is working very hard to try and keep the consumers satisfied. But in spite of these efforts, Fils-Amie has officially stated they are not going to be able to meet this holiday demand.
Reigning champ in the new generation console war, the Wii doesn’t look like it’s willing to give up its throne any time soon. With new games already announced and no important increase in competitor’s sales figures the Wii can peacefully enjoy its success.
