Watch Top Gear shows on your PS3
That’s right car enthusiasts , you’ll be able to watch somewhere around 40 episodes from the popular motoring TV show, Top Gear, using the new Grand Turismo TV channel, that will be available sometime next on the PlayStation Network.
This will all be possible thanks to an agreement signed between Polyphony Digital and BBC Worldwide. This also brings a bonus to all Grand Turismo fans out there, as the new game in the series will feature Top Gear’s famous test track.
“We’re sure that players will be as thrilled as we are when they get the chance to put their own driving skills to the test on the Top Gear Test Track in GT5, as well as enjoying classic episodes of Top Gear via GT TV,” said Kazunori Yamauchi, end boss at developer Polyphony Digital.
Unfortunately it’s a very long wait till Grand Turismo 5 launches, a release has only been announced for Japan, sometimes in July 2008, while Europeans will surely have to wait even longer.
Still, those of you lucky enough to own a PlayStation 3 can download the Grand Turismo Prologue demo from the PlayStation Network, but hurry up it’s only available until November 11th.
