Warhammer Online delayed
Electronic Arts executives have revealed that Warhammer Online, the company’s ambitious MMO project has been delayed once again.
Based on the popular Warhammer table-top game, Age of Reckoning was scheduled for release in March of next year, but now the title is to be released as late as September 2008. I don’t know what the boys at Mythic Entertainment are doing but it’s definitely not good.
When Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning was first announced I really though to myself: Now there’s a game with a large enough fanbase to stand up against World of Warcraft’s despotic rule. But now with all these delays I’m pretty sure Warhammer fans are irritated, so its success isn’t exactly guaranteed anymore…too bad.
