US Post Service delivers empty Wii box

The hunt for a Nintendo Wii for the holidays reaches new heights as people seem to stop at nothing to get their hands on one.

A woman from Columbus, Georgia managed to find and buy a Wii on Ebay but instead of getting the precious gaming system she only received an empty Wii box. The package was ripped and the console that was supposed to be inside was missing. Post Service officials confirmed the package was heavier at one point, but cannot figure out what went wrong.

Even though she had insured her package, Kathy Green will have to wait for over a month before she will be refunded and go through a number of complicated procedures…and the worst part is she is still Wii-less.

Here’s what a USPS Customer Support Service Manager said regarding this accident: “Package your articles correctly, make sure they’re secure, make sure you have an address on the inside of the package, as well as on the outside of the package.” Hmmm, I must be stupid, because I have no idea how that would help in such a situation. But hey he’s the expert…(!?!).
