Universe at War pushed to 2008

Petroglyph’s revolutionary sci-fi RTS has been delayed until January 2008, SEGA announced. Of course they tried to turn this into positive news, saying this way the PC and Xbox 360 launches will be closer together.

Originally, the game was supposed to launch on November 2nd for the PC, but apparently things didn’t go as planned so the developers were forced to delay the game.

Universe at War features a very “original” “aliens invade Earth” story and it’s designed as the first installment in an entire saga.

The hype around Universe at War is in part due to its cross-platform play support, which means it was the first third party title to announce it will allow multiplayer games between PC and the Xbox 360.
