Street Fighter IV is in the making

After roughly a decade since the last Street Fighter game, Capcom has finally announced it is working on the fourth installment in the series. As one of the most popular beat’em up games in gaming industry, the Street Fighter series is practically a phenomenon, inspiring a movie, an anime film, action figures and more.

 

Not much has been revealed about Street Fighter 4, not even if it’s going to be the first 3D game in the series (not including the spin offs, remakes and upgrades) or if it’s going to remain in 2D. Still the news that they’re making a new Street Fighter is enough to drive some people nuts with happiness.

  1. according to gamespot, the game will be out MORE THAN A YEAR from now. it seems that capcom announced SF4 just get a hype going and to prevent capcom fans from quitting after the flurry of capcom bashes from supposed-to-be capcom fansites and gaming reviews these past few days.
