Professional gamers to carry the Olympic torch
Well gaming has come a long way if it’s being perceived as some kind of sport. I wonder what muscles it stimulates…
According to Kotaku, after Trevor McDonald and Konnie Huq already carried the torch, it’s time for two prestigious Warcraft III players to have the honor of marching with the flame through the streets.
Jae Ho “Moon” Jang and Li “Sky” Xiaofeng are scheduled to carry the torch during this year’s Olympic Games opening ceremony in Beijing. They will be joined by professional StarCraft players Junchun “Pj” Sha and Lei “Leilei” Shen.
Wow, I have to say I don’t really see the point of all this. I mean gaming has nothing to do with sports…nothing whatsoever, next they’ll be asking bankers to carry the torch.
