MGS4 available for preorder

Preorder MGS4 now, get it in June

Metal Gear Solid 4, possibly the most anticipated game on the PS3, finally got a release date, even though it didn’t come from developer Konami.

We were first able to see proof of MGS4 back in 2005 when the PS3 was first presented and I was sure it would be one of the first games to launch for the new console, as means to increase interest in the system. Boy was I wrong! The game remained to be announced to this day (sure they said sometime in 2008, but that’s not a release date).

Well, if we’re to believe what retailers like GameStop and EB Games are saying, we’ve finally got a set release date, at least for the US: June 17^th 2008. The game is already available for preorder for the price of $59.99.

So if you’re a fan of Kojima’s work and want to save yourself the stress of having to battle for a copy when MGS4 finally comes out, it’s worth 5 bucks to preorder.
