Microsoft Police punishes Gamescore cheaters
Today will be a bad day for all those who have tried to cheat on their Xbox Live Gamescores, Microsoft announced they will finally get what they deserve.
Microsoft announced that it will take serious action against those who have tampered with their scores and achievements. Their scores will be reset to zero and to make it a little humiliating, they will be labeled as cheaters on Xbox.com and on their gamecards.
Here is what cheaters can expect from Microsoft Police:
- Resetting the entire Gamerscore for an account to zero
- The account will be unable to regain all previously obtained achievements and Gamerscore, however, the players will have the ability to gain future Achievements by earning them fairly, like the majority of the Xbox LIVE community does
- The account will be clearly labelled as a cheater for the community to view on xbox.com. You can see an example here. The personal view of the gamercard will be labelled as well.

What a stupid idea. The XBL community really needs MORE abuse and elitism, right?
They should do something novel, like take a page from valve’s book(it’s not like microsoft have any compunctions against ripping off other people, after all) and simply *GASP* not award achievements for people who use cheats! WOW, what a concept!
Instead, hooting morons on xboxlive get MORE reasons to abuse, insult, and cast aspersions on their fellow gamers.
gg, microsoft. very gg.
