Halo 3 ending video available online
The most anticipated game of 2007, Bungie Studios’ Halo 3 just took a blow below the belt. The game’s ending movie was leaked on the internet. Filmed with a mobile phone, the caption is of very poor quality but for those of you who are dying to see the ending of a game you haven’t even played yet, it should be perfect.
Apparently some dude bought the game off E-bay, finished it and had nothing better to do than post the ending on the net. He might think what he did is cool but if you ask me it’s just wrong. With all this hype surrounding Halo 3, I’m sure there are fans out there who won’t be able to help themselves and are going to watch this video. And there goes part of their excitement.
And I’m sure Microsoft isn’t exactly thrilled about this leak either, as they’ve asked YouTube to take down the video, invoking copyright. So if there was ever a doubt about this being the actual ending, it’s all gone now. They wouldn’t have gone through all the trouble to have the video removed.
If you think about it, this isn’t really shocking news, copies of Halo 3 have been available on E-bay for some time now. And with all the excitement surrounding the sci-fi shooter, this was bound to happen. Microsoft must be praying this doesn’t affect their plans with Halo 3.
Because I don’t approve of this kind of gestures, I haven’t posted any links to the leaked ending. Play the game, you’ll enjoy the ending a lot more!
