Devil May Cry 4 launches February 2008

Capcom has finally announced it is releasing the 4th installment in the Devil May Cry series in February of next year for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Originally set for release in 2007, the game has been pushed to next year without any reasons for the delay being mentioned.
Devil May Cry 4 introduces a new playable character, Nero, as well as brand new gameplay mechanics designed to improve the title’s battle system. This new hero will use both his deadly Devil Bringer arm and the Exceed system to dispatch his foes. Fans of long time leading man Dante mustn’t worry as he will also be playable throughout the game.
DMC4 is set in Fortuna, an ancient city where a cult known as the Order of the Sword, is holding a ceremony worshiping Sparda, the demon warrior who saved mankind from extinction. In the middle of the proceedings, Dante drops in uninvited and starts slaughtering the cultists. Fearing for the safety of his long time friend Kyrie, Nero confronts Dante. After an intense battle, Dante decides to take his leave, leaving this fight for another time. While Nero is chasing after him, mysterious portals start opening throughout Fortuna and ghastly demons start jumping out. The rest is a mystery players will have to solve on their own.
