Today will be a bad day for all those who have tried to cheat on their Xbox Live Gamescores, Microsoft announced they will finally get what they deserve.
Microsoft announced that it will take serious action against those who have tampered with their scores and achievements. Their scores will be reset to zero and to make it a little humiliating, they will be labeled as cheaters on Xbox.com and on their gamecards.
Here is what cheaters can expect from Microsoft Police:
- Resetting the entire Gamerscore for an account to zero
- The account will be unable to regain all previously obtained achievements and Gamerscore, however, the players will have the ability to gain future Achievements by earning them fairly, like the majority of the Xbox LIVE community does
- The account will be clearly labelled as a cheater for the community to view on xbox.com. You can see an example here. The personal view of the gamercard will be labelled as well.

The rumors have been confirmed, Ubisoft is really attacking the MMO market using Clancy’s name as its secret weapon.
After acquiring all the rights to the author’s name, the French developer decided to use his popularity as a launching pad for its new MMO project. “Having no fees, it’s going to give us a full return, [so] we’ve really decided now to go for an MMO on the Clancy name, which is big” said Yves Guillermot, the boss of Ubisoft.
Guillermot estimated that the Clancy MMO would cost between $40 million and $50 million to make and added that the company “has the technology to create MMOs… We have lots of games in the Clancy franchise that are already multiplayer. So to create an MMO, we need to have larger teams to actually spend the time to create it.”

Ubisoft’s latest entry in the popular Rainbow Six series is doing really good in the sales department.
By shipping 1 million units just one week since launch, Rainbow Six Vegas 2 proves that Ubisoft made a great business decision when it acquired all the rights to Tom Clancy’s name. It’s not very surprising as the series is well known and Vegas 2 has gotten really great reviews from the major gaming sites (an average of 83% on GameRankings).
This proved Clancy’s games are a strong drive of Ubisoft’s business and may have been the reason for the company greenlighting the MMO set in a Tom Clancy universe.

Get ready to upgrade your PS3 to version 2.20, here some of its crucial features:
- Full playlist support via PSP
- 2gb+ DivX and WMV files are now playable, along with DivX subtitle support.
- Resume play for DVD/Blu-ray discs (this is my favorite new feature), no more re-starting a movie from the beginning, this will allow you to stop a disc and resume it right where you left off previously.
- Your PSP can now be used as a remote control of sorts for PS3 media playback.
- Faster web browser
- ‘Save Target As’ option gives you broader hard drive save options when saving items directly from web pages.
- And the main update feature: BD-Live, which allows Blu-ray Disc Profile 2.0 support, allowing your movies to connect to the internet to download additional content and features.
It’s a little on the long side, so if you don’t have a powerful Internet connection, I suggest you start downloading, it’s going to take a while.
