As we’ve stated on numerous occasions, the Sony PS2 is far from being dead and buried, in fact the Japanese manufacturer is planning to give yet another face-lift and making it more accessible to the public by cutting its current price.
According to an MCV report, this new PS2 model will more compact, will have an in-built power supply and will sell for a retail price of $99 dollars, that’s 30$ less than its current price. The in-built power supply is allegedly what allows Sony to reduce manufacturing costs and the retail price. The redesigned model will be available early next year, maybe right on New Year’s.

Yesterday, leading gaming website, Gamespot.com, posted some news regarding a possible MMORPG set in the Elder Scrolls universe. Although the facts can’t prove that such a project is in the works, it’s enough to keep the rumor going.
The most important hint that Bethesda is planning on taking its popular RPG series online, is the registration of a domain named elderscrollsonline.com, by Zenimax Media, parent company of Bethesda Softworks. Even though the URL is inactive at the moment, it’s possible that the MMO, Bethesda has announced is working on, could be set in the Elder Scrolls realm of Tamriel.
