SEGA announces release dates for top games

According to Eurogamer, leading developer and publisher SEGA announced the release dates for its most important games of 2007.

 

Virtua Fighter 5 for the Xbox 360 will be released on the 26th of October. Universe at War for the PC and Ghost Squad for the Nintendo Wii will both ship out on November 2nd.

Race Driver:Create & Race coming to Nintendo DS

According to leading game publisher Codemasters, the first installment of the Race Driver franchise for the Nintendo DS will be the first to allow players to fully customize their race cars via the WI-FI connection and actually build their own original racing tracks, using the innovative Track Designer.

 

Judging from the publishers statements, the game is worth looking forward to, as it will allow players to race up to three friends simultaneously, on more than 30 official race circuits across the world, including Adelaide, Hockenheim or Silverstone, using one of more than twenty vehicles available.

Harvey Birdman-Attorney at Law announced for Wii

After first announcing the game for the PlayStation 2 and PSP platforms, Capcom has announced it’s working on a version for the newest addition to the Nintendo family, the Wii.

 

The game is based on popular TV show Adult Swim, and will have you playing as Harvey Birdman, third-rate superhero turned attorney and charged with defending parodied classic cartoon characters in the courtroom. The game is based on the show’s humorous atmosphere, featuring the young attorney trying to crack the case of the prosecution, by investigating crime scenes, talking to other goofy cartoon characters and gathering evidence.

Quake Wars demo coming September 10

PC gamers will be able to download the demo of the highly anticipated online multiplayer shooter, Quake Wars: Enemy Territory , on September 10th, announced ID Software.

 

The PC version of the game apparently recently went gold and is scheduled to be released on October 2nd in North America, while Europe an Australian fans will enjoy the game a little earlier since it’s being released on September 28.
